 Hey everyone i hope everybody enjoyed their labor day as much as i did!!! Although it was raining i spent my labor day on eastern parkway with the caribbean community it was beautiful to see the whole caribbean communtiy enjoying the gloomy weather!! But what was really interesting was the garifuna representation at the carnival!!! As my sisters and i were dancing and hopping along form band to band we noticed a girl with 4 flags in her pants pockets: guatemala, honduras, belize and garifuna flag; what a beautiful sight!
But what stood out the most to me was the biggest garifuna flag i've ever seen waving beautifully in the wind it was being carried by tony aka tonito galan from labuga.
