GARIFUNA LEGEND IN CRITICAL CONDITIONS AT LINCOLN

Garifuna legendary painter and Garinet Hall of Famer, Virgilio Lopez is currently at Lincoln Hospital in Gari Village in the Bronx after a roberry attempt.
This information comes as early as 6 am 7.17.2003.
"He is badly hurt and is in the hospital", confirmed Rolando Marin a member of the board of directors of Trujillo Deprtivo Club, the soccer club that Vilo spend his time working on.
Virgilio Lopez' first debuted on Garinet in 1999 with his exotic paintings. He is a legend and a big figure in Honduras where he had held exhibits for the country.
In 1995, Mr. Lopez held Garifuna exhibit at the United Nations with then Honduran Embassador to the U.N.
"I love painting and life", said Vilo recently at Lidani's release Party in June.
In addition, Mr. Lopez have contributed his work to Garifuna organizations, CD covers as well.
"Being with my people is the ultimate goal", he continued.
